The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,
-
To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including
Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education;
- To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;
- To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and
- To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.

- Green Day Celebration (Van Mahatsav )
- VMC meeting organized on 03/07/201o. VMC Chair man Dr. R. J. Lakra Senior DMO, SECL and all the VMC memebers were present at KV, Manendragarh. New Quarters handed over to the KV and New Quarters are also alloted to the Staff members.
- Students are distributed among Four (STAR) Houses
- Summer Vacations start from 02/05/2010. Vidyalaya will re-open from 21/06/2010.
- Annual Function- 2010 celebrated on 29/04/2010
- Annual Function-2010 will be organized on 29/04/2010 at Vidyalaya Premises
